Spring Move

April finds us back aboard Puff, bye-bye Angelsong... such a sweet little cottage,

Home, sweet, home... you can't beat that view with a stick.

Our backyard....

So beautiful.

Our neighbors...

Jack has made himself right at home back on the boat.

The Community Store is right next door. It is one of two of the small grocery stores on the island. Inside the Community Store on a Friday night, the local musicians gather for a little indoor porch pickin'. Village folk gather by the wood stove to enjoy the music. I'm in there buying some soymilk for Brian's breakfast cereal, they carry great vegetarian/vegan items.

The local talent sounds great. Some of Ocracoke's local musicians were featured in the movie, Nights in Rodanthe. Rodanthe is a ferry ride away on Hatteras Island. Brian and I got married there on the beach in October of 2005. I love this.
