Saturday night, January 31st, Brian and I had a little Mardi Gras dinner at our rental home, Angelsong. Brian's parents and brother were on the island and staying with us. We invited several of our friends and I think everybody had a really nice time. I made hurricane punch and jambalaya among other things. Brian's brother, Pete, brought a bushel of oysters from Wilmington and they were sooooo good! My mom and Nancy sent boxes of Mardi Gras decorations and Liz sent jambalya stuff, thanks to them the party had real Louisiana flavor!
